TAT aims to reach 40 million tourists in 2025
On January 1, Miss Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) revealed that in 2024, more than 35.4 million foreign tourists came to Thailand, an increase of 26% over the previous year, and generated revenue of 1.67 trillion baht, an increase of 34%. In 2025, the tourist numbers goal is 40 million people, in which the revenue from foreign tourists will reach an all-time high of 1.98-2.23 trillion baht, along with encouraging more domestic visitors through the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year 2025” campaign.
