How to apply for a passport online
Online passport queueing is a more convenient way. This can be done at the Q Passport website. The simple booking process is as follows:
- Log in or sign up
- Select the service area for passport application
- Select a passport type for yourself or another person
- Select the place
- Select the date and time
- Select a way to obtain the passport
Reservations can be made no later than 30 days.
Document used in applying for a passport
To apply for a new passport, the applicant must prepare the following documents:
- An ID Card (real and copy)
- A two-inch photograph
- Other documents that may be necessary as the case may be.
Passport applying fee
The passport fee in 2024 is as follows;
- Normal
- 5-Year Passport: 1,000 baht
- 10-Year Passport: 1,500 baht
Passports applied in Bangkok and the suburbs will be mailed within 2-3 business days, while it will take 3-5 business days in other provinces.
- Express (get the passport within the same date of application)
- 5-Year Passport: 1,000 baht
- 10-Year Passport: 1,500 baht
- This can be done at every office (before 11.00 am)
